Position: Service Manager

Position Overview:
The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department, including operations, sales, and personnel management. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with proven experience in the fire sprinkler and life safety industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily sales and operations of the Service Department.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and align them with district leadership.
- Conduct personal sales activities while leading the service team.
- Monitor and manage job costs and margins to ensure profitability.
- Stay informed of competitor pricing and service trends to maintain competitiveness.
- Build and nurture new client relationships to grow the customer base.
- Review proposals and contracts to ensure accuracy and protect profitability.
- Train and mentor sales and field leaders on customer engagement, quoting, and technical support.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
- Collaborate with the District General Manager as part of the leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, with emphasis on service and sales.
- Strong sales acumen and presentation skills.
- Proven success managing diverse teams and service departments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Leadership and negotiation experience with a record of sales achievements.
- Self-driven with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
- Familiarity with NFPA, IBC, and IFC codes relevant to fire protection.
- Valid driver’s license.
- NICET Certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of design experience required.
