Position: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
City: San Bernardino, CA
Range of Pay: $20.25 to $20.50
Shift: 1st Shift
- Monday to Friday from 3pm-11:40pm + OT as needed?
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Job Summary:
This position will require you to do General Labor duties as well to operate a Cherry Picker, Sit-Down, Stand-up and Turret forklift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs General Labor Duties as needed.
- Operates the Turret, Sit-down, Stand-up, forklifts to move, stack, and stage product.
- Will also occassionally operate the Cherry Picker to order select product.
- Perform daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operations.
- Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring that the correct quantity and quality of product is loaded and ready for transport.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper handling of products and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience operating the Turret, stand-up and sit-down Forklift in a Manufacturing facility, warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
