Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Position Type: Full-Time | Shift:1st Shift( 4AM - 2:30PM)
Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.79 per hour

Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician III is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining complex electrical and electronic systems within an industrial manufacturing environment. This position requires advanced technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and leadership in maintaining operational efficiency and safety. The Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor and may direct the work of others.
Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic systems, components, and equipment (24V-480V AC, single/three phase, DC voltage, motor controls, etc.).
  • Install, modify, and maintain electrical and electronic systems per technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on PLC systems, control systems, and automated machinery.
  • Calibrate, test, and adjust electrical and electronic equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to resolve system or equipment issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, calibrations, and part inventories.
  • Ensure all work complies with company policies, OSHA standards, and established safety practices
Qualifications & Requirements
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical or industrial maintenance or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Advanced electrical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with PLC programming (creating, editing, and troubleshooting).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Familiarity with computers, control systems, and electronic diagnostics.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools; must provide basic tool set.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
  • Must have personal hand tools and a cell phone with text capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and perform under minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
