Job Summary:
Protech Staffing is seeking motivated associates to join a busy commercial bakery. These positions support daily production by preparing products, maintaining a clean and sanitary facility, and moving materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts and other equipment. The bakery operates in a warm to hot environment, and candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards for quality, food safety, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities: Production Associates
- Assemble, package, inspect, and prepare bakery products for shipment.
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow recipes, production schedules, and food safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet daily production goals while following all company policies.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, bakery, food production, experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a hot production environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent attendance.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced commercial bakery with warm to hot working conditions.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements.
- Food manufacturing environment requiring strict adherence to safety, GMP, and sanitation standards.
- Overtime may be required based on production needs.
