Location: Norwalk, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Pay: $27.00–$32.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd Shift. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and repair production machinery to ensure safe, efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Install, diagnose, maintain, modify, repair, and rebuild plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical components, including fuses, switches, and push buttons.
- Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and complies with GMP standards.
- Inspect equipment and manufactured products to identify defects or operational issues.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and parts inventory.
- Assist production teams with equipment setups and changeovers.
- Provide guidance on proper equipment operation and preventative maintenance practices.
- Perform maintenance work involving mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pipefitting, carpentry, and utility systems.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, equipment reliability, and product quality.
- 2–4 years of experience in preventative maintenance, equipment diagnostics, and repair in a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical or Mechanical Trade School certification preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
